Rodrigo Velázquez Bernabéu

Rodrigo Velázquez Bernabéu first worked for TERROIR in 2009 in the Sydney office where he worked on a number of competitions including the prizewinning Statens Naturhistoriske Museum in Copenhagen.

After this he came back to Spain where he graduated as an Architect in the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in 2010. His final project dealt with large scale urban interventions and the possibility of finding alternative uses to apparently strongly conditioned spaces in cities by infrastructures.

After working for almost one year in b720 Arquitectos in Madrid, Rodrigo left Spain to accrue more international experience, first at Kengo Kuma & Associates in Tokyo and now back with TERROIR in the Copenhagen office where he is part of the team working in the World Maritime University project in Malmo, Sweden.
