Future of Practice

Gerard Reinmuth has contributed a major article to the new issue of brilliant Norwegian architecture magazine, CONDITIONS.

The article addresses the stress architects feel as their profession faces massive changes in the way cities are made, leading to a reconsideration of the role of the architect in this context.

The article proposes a new architectural educaton built on a fusion between Betsky's "architecture beyond building" and van Schaiks "spatial intelligence" as a way of teaching architects to reconsider thair abilities and potential in making rhe city.
